An illustration celebrating the anniversary of one of humanities greatest achievements.
The Financial Times asked me to create an illustration to accompany their coverage of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. As a bit of a space geek myself, I was really excited to create something to mark the event. I wanted to capture the excitement and energy that must have captivated people around the world on that day in 1969. I decided to visualize a series of moments, including the lift off of Apollo 11, the landing module and those incredible first steps.
