The Fermi Paradox
Editorial illustration about the Zoo Hypothesis of the Fermi Paradox.
The Fermi paradox is the apparent contradiction between the lack of evidence and high probability estimates for the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations. It asks the question 'Where is everybody?'
One of the suggested reasons is the 'zoo hypothesis' and supposes that alien life intentionally avoids communication with Earth, to allow for natural evolution and sociocultural development. We're basically in a big alien zoo!
